What happens to my document?
First of all we assess your document to count the number of words that are in it and we ask you if you would like the work to be proofread and typeset. This helps us to calculate the delivery date and the price.
If you agree to our price and deadline, your document is then prepared for use with our translation software and assigned to one of our professional in-house or freelance translators. All of our translators work with state of the art Computer Aided Translation software. This software extracts the text from your document and as the translator translates the document the CAT tools help the translator to achieve a high level of consistency and quality.
Depending on your requirements, the document will then be assigned to one of our proofreaders who will run various manual and computer aided quality checks, they will also read the translation through in its entirety to make sure it reads fluently.
If requested, typesetting/layout work is completed after translation and proofreading. This involves re-importing the translated text into your document. The layout is then adjusted so that the placement of the text corresponds to the original document.
If the document is for marketing purposes, it is often proofed again to ensure the style is suitable for its target audience.
Last of all, we carry out a final checking procedure where spot checks on layout and consistency are conducted by a third person to ensure that the document is of the highest quality before it is delivered to you.

How can I be sure that the translation I will receive is any good?
To ensure that your translation is of the highest standard, we pass your text to a professional translator who is both a native speaker of the target language and an expert in the subject matter concerned. To this end, our translators and our team of proofreaders use glossaries that have been agreed with you, the customer. Our existing glossaries already cover more than 5000 terms from the heating equipment sector.
