Several times a year, we take the time to visit our customers on their home ground. So at the end of May, Emma Pielen (our MD) and I duly packed our bags and headed to Germany, where we were able to meet up with some of our business partners.
Nowadays, all projects are managed via modern channels of communication. Nevertheless, it’s important to us to retain the element of personal contact in our dealings with our customers. In face-to-face meetings, we often end up talking about subjects that we would otherwise never find the time for in daily business life. These kinds of meetings also spark ideas which, when subsequently put into practice, serve to reinforce the business relationship, and can help remodel workflows for mutual benefit.
Last but not least, we were able to demonstrate to our customers that Balthasar is not merely a virtual online presence, but a fully-fledged company with a geographical location and a very committed team back home!
