Company Outing – Hellens Manor
On Sunday 9th August, the Balthasar team enjoyed a little bit of local history and culture on a company outing to Hellen’s manor in Herefordshire.
The afternoon commenced with a picnic on the grounds of the manor house and then with a tour of the house, allowing team members to learn a little more about the history of the manor and the region. The house dates back to the 11th Century and has a lot of history linked to it. Each room has a different story to tell and the décor has been kept in the style it was found in.
More about the manor here:
Tales of the uses of the manor, the inhabitants and family members were told, along with the hint that ghosts might be present…
After the tour, there was the perfect opportunity to enjoy tea and cake in the tea room and take in the information, chat about the tour and soak up a bit of sunshine.
It was a lovely afternoon and nice to catch up outside of the translation environment.
